SparkWheel Receives $2,000 Grant from Lincoln Savings Bank Foundation

WATERLOO, IA - SparkWheel is pleased to announce that we have received a $2,000 grant from the Lincoln Savings Bank Foundation. This generous contribution will support our Integrated Student Supports framework at Central Middle School and George Washington Carver Academy in Waterloo, Iowa.

Through SparkWheel’s evidence-based Integrated Student Supports model, we address both academic and non-academic needs of students, resulting in an increased sense of well-being and greater success in school. Our approach helps students and families overcome challenges that hinder learning or prevent regular school attendance. We tailor our services to each school, placing a dedicated Student Support Coordinator at each location to provide personalized support for individual students as well as resources accessible to the entire student body.

"We are thrilled to partner with Lincoln Savings Bank Foundation to enhance our services in Waterloo," said Noelle Haselhuhn, Communications Manager at SparkWheel. "Their support allows us to continue our mission of empowering students to overcome barriers and achieve their full potential."

The Lincoln Savings Bank Foundation has a long history of giving back to local communities. According to their website, "Iowans have generous hearts. We're part of that tradition. For more than 100 years, Lincoln Savings Bank has given back to local communities in many ways - and as often as possible."

We are grateful to the Lincoln Savings Bank Foundation for their support and look forward to making a positive impact on the lives of students in Waterloo.

Lincoln Savings Bank Foundation

For more than 100 years, Lincoln Savings Bank has given back to local communities in many ways - and as often as possible. From the foundation’s inception in 2005 through today, we have contributed millions to various establishments, individuals, and community endeavors. In 2008, in the wake of severe floods and a devastating tornado, we raised money for disaster relief. Our efforts have grown over the years, and these days the LSB Foundation donates thousands of dollars annually to charities, community groups and other 501c(3) organizations.
